Myths and Legends - Superman goes to the Gym

As part of our English work, we are looking at Myths and Legends. We had to choose one to develop and then produce an animation to go with it. We wrote our script for the animation and planned what was going to happen. We then had to read out our narration. The animation was produced on a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker.

Here is our Myths and Legends Script :-

MYTH MOVIE
Superman goes to the gym

After Superman’s retirement he became morbidly obese. He went to a secret doctor and found out that if he didn’t get in shape his powers would become inactive as he had only been using them for selfish purposes. As superman was getting in shape he found that he would face an epic battle in the near future. Along with getting in shape superman found a sidekick named that fat guy, that everybody knows but doesn’t really know his name so they just call him that fat guy.
His arch nemesis arose from his secret lair (but everybody knows where it is but they don’t tell him that they know, so he doesn’t get upset.) his name was Evil monkey guy (yes I know I said guy a lot but I like the word and it’s my story, so shut up) Superman fought hard but ultimately was defeated by evil monkey guy’s ultimate atomic machine gun. Superman lay dead on the steps dead (and to all you superman fans “boo hoo”) he fell into Hades like a comet, whoosh bang. Where he met chucky, ruler of the underworld. “What happened to Hades?” asked Superman. He was weak so I blasted him like dynamite to a building BANG!”. “Wow kinda psycho don’t you think”. “Callen me psycho cause I’ll cap ya fool”. “No, did you think I said psycho I said micro as in small”. “So your callen me small now”. “I said ummm…nice shirt?” “Anyway I have some tasks for you to complete”. If you choose to accept you might be able to leave. Ok what’s the task? You must wash my car!
“Ok but will you let me out after that.” Yes!
“There finished now let me out”
Ok get out there’s some stairs over there.
“Finally I’m let out of this place, now I have to defeat evil monkey guy.”

And the battle waged on and superman reigned victorious and became ripped again.

Myths and Legends - Beowulf

As part of our English work, we are looking at Myths and Legends. We had to choose one to develop and then produce an animation to go with it. We wrote our script for the animation and planned what was going to happen. We then had to read out our narration. The animation was produced on a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker.

Here is our Myths and Legends Script :-

Beowulf

Once, a long time ago, there was a king named Hrothgar and his mead hall called Heorot. But Heorot wasn’t like any other mead hall. It was haunted, by a hideous monster named Grendel. Grendel would come every night and start slaughtering the men inside. This story was heard by Beowulf. A mighty warrior of many deeds. When Beowulf arrived a party was thrown in his honour. But it soon was ruined as Grendel started smashing through the ceiling and screams were heard everywhere. Beowulf stood up and the fight began. Grendel and Beowulf started hacking and slashing at each other. Blood oozing from the many wounds scattered upon them. But then all of a sudden Beowulf grasped Grendel’s arm with both hands and wrenched it off of his shoulder. Grendel had been beaten and left to die. And Beowulf hung Grendel’s arm in the mead hall to remind him and everybody else of the day that he beat Grendel. King Hrothgar was so grateful that he offered that in his death Beowulf would be king. Beowulf slept with a smile on his face. Death surrounded him. Had Grendel not been killed? No, this was the work of Grendel’s mother. An even more fierce version of Grendel. Could Beowulf beat Grendel’s mother? Could he save the day once again?

Myths and Legends - Paris and the Guitar

The animation was produced on a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker.

Here is our Myths and Legends Script :-

Paris and the Guitar.

In a faraway land by the name of Holly wood, there lived a young beautiful princess named Paris. She was so loyal to the gods of the red carpet that they gave her a gift in return. She received a golden guitar, not just any ordinary guitar, a guitar that’ll make you a rock legend.

Paris knew that she wasn’t ready for that kind of fame. So she did what any ordinary person would do. She went around and asked every single god and goddess what they would give in return for the guitar. Many of them said power, beauty and everlasting life, but she wanted something more, something that she could only have.

One day Paris was strolling through Hollywood in search of the right dress for her party. She walked into a private Gucci outlet (only for famous people). While she was in there she bumped into the sons of the three goddesses Athena, Aphrodite and Hera. Joseph son of Athena, Nicholas son of Aphrodite and Henry son of Hera. They were all blessed with good looks and great voices. All the women wanted to be with them and all the men wanted to be them.

They were all fighting about whose skinny jeans looked better. They saw Paris and told her to tell them who looked better. She replied by saying what will I get in return. They said everlasting love, she knew that she couldn’t resist so she said that Joseph looked better. She couldn’t wait to get her love in return. The boys grabbed their blackberries and started their magic. They texted, im’d and even called to look for Paris’ true love. Just In two minutes Henry found him, Phillip was his name. Fresh out of Harvard and most eligible bachelor in California.

He also was looking for a loved one and when he heard about Paris he couldn’t resist. She thanked the trio and left to get ready. Not knowing that Henry bribed Phillip into falling in love with her.

Sina and the Eel.

One day leana's mother went to the creek to get sea water to cook their food.
When leana's mother looked in her basket, she saw a little eel.
So she thought, my little Letia would love this as a pet.

So Letia went home and gave Leana the pet eel.
As days went past, Leana's eel grew bigger and bigger, so she and her father dug a pond for the eel

The next day, Leana went to visit her eel. "Aaaagh, it bit me!"
Letia ran home into her father. "Why are you crying Leana?" Leana said to her dad, "The eel bit me!"
Her dad got so angry he did not know what to do.

"I know, we will run away from here, far away!" Leana ran and ran, but the eel was still chasing her through the villages.
Then a warrior saw Leana and he saw her crying.
Then he asked her, "Leana, what's wrong?" So Leana told the warrior what was happening and the warrior helped her.

They killed the eel and, as requested by the eel, Leana planted the head near a brick wall.
When Leana went back later to where she buried the eel's head, she saw a coconut tree had grown.
And the coconut looked just like the head of the eel.
